It is a place known to many people - by sight. That beautiful old home looking out on the James River and the Richmond skyline. That expanse of green, so unique in its cascading tiers and wooded edge. Soon the 531 acres of Tree Hill in eastern Henrico County - a place of settlement even before colonists arrived - could be a place more people can know as home.
As proposed in a comprehensive development plan now under consideration in Henrico County, Tree HIll will be a place of living, working and learning for families and individuals. It will be a place where the new and the natural blend wonderfully within and among five distinctive neighborhoods. It will be a benchmark for community planning in the future growth of the Varina District.
To those who already know it intimately, Tree Hill has what is called spirit of place. Land, sky, history and people have always come together here in an extraordinary way. Now that spirit can be enriched with new homes, new human stories and newfound love for a truly amazing place.
